All In:Playing the Fool(9)

"Don't even pretend like I was anything more than a one-night distraction from the jackass you were trying to get over."

"How-how'd you know about Zack?"

"So, Zack's his name?" he asked, crossing his own arms over his chest.  "You don't remember saying that you wanted me to make you scream my name  until you forgot his? Maybe you were drunk. That would explain a  helluva lot."

My cheeks flared at the recollection of saying that in the heat of the  moment, and then the memories of how he'd made me scream his name.

"I wasn't drunk," I muttered softly.

"So did it work? Did you forget him while you were with me Friday night?" Will asked.

Well, I never once thought about Zack on the elevator. Or after Will got  in the hot tub with me. Or when we fell asleep together. Definitely not  when he woke me up with this tongue between my legs.

"Yes." Hell, I'd been so pissed at Will that I hadn't thought of Zack  since Friday night, except when I noted a missed call or text message  from him.

"That's something at least. Now let me get to work," he said, when he  pushed off from the door and headed around my desk. I stood in the way,  blocking his access to the computer. He was so close I could smell his  clean and yummy masculine cologne.

"No."

"No?" he asked with a smirk. "Okay, then let me see you connect to the  network, set up a new email account on their server, and install all the  case management software they use here. Go ahead, I'll stand here and  watch."

I turned my back to him and sat down in front of the computer. Grabbing  the mouse I went to the control panel, then clicked "Set up new network  connection." I clicked a few more things before the "Connection failed"  message popped up. Will cleared his throat behind me.

I sucked up my pride and stood up from the chair. Jess and Joe needed my  help, and I'd been screwing off long enough. "Fine. I'll be in Jess's  office," I told him, having to turn sideways to get past him. The front  of my skirt suit rubbed against the front of his larger, firm, unmoving  body, and he smiled down at me when he heard my gasp.

"I'll come get you when I finish," he said, heavy on the innuendo as I headed for the door.

"Try and make it quick, but I know that won't be a problem for you," I  responded. It was a low blow but the man flustered me. He'd lied to me  and embarrassed me. But honestly, the only thing quick about our fucking  was the speed at which he made me come.

"It doesn't take long when you know what you're doing," he responded,  sitting down at the computer without another glance in my direction.

No, it doesn't. He'd made me come three times in five minutes. That had  to be some sort of world record, I thought as I left and went to sit  with Jess in her office.

She looked up and smiled when she saw me. "How's it going with Will?"

"That man is  …  grrr," I growled, making sounds of irritation before  flopping down in the chair in front of her desk. "You could've warned me  that he was the IT guy!"

She giggled and covered her mouth. "You like him! And don't even deny it. He wouldn't get you so worked up if you didn't."

"I don't want anything to do with him! I tried to make him leave and he wouldn't."

"Um-huh. Right," she said, not buying my B.S. "And I have to ask … if you  want you can tell me to mind my own damn business. What's Will like, you  know...in bed?"

I couldn't hide my smile. I'd wanted to share with someone but didn't  want to admit I'd had a one-night stand to any of my pretentious  friends. Just days after meeting a guy at Sin, my friend Kylie was in a  serious relationship with him, saying things like he might be "the one."

"Ha! That smile says it must have been pretty damn good. Hell, I didn't know he had it in him."

I laughed and shook my head. "Me either. He made me come three times within five minutes on the elevator."

"Jesus! Three times on the elevator? Wait, the one in Dylan's building? Doesn't it have cameras?"

"Oh shit!" I said, jumping up from my seat in a panic. "No. Please tell me it doesn't."

"I thought there was a security company that monitored it."

"Oh God."

"What ... what did you two do in it exactly?" she asked, biting her lip and trying not to smile.

I groaned and flopped back down in the chair, knowing it was too late to worry about cameras now.

"He  …  went down on me in a very...compromising way, even more so than normal, and then we, well, you know."

"He is just full of surprises! Based on my own experience, and from what  Lauren and Jules have said when we … compare notes, I think these boys  received some amazing Sex Ed in high school. And amen for that."

"Tell me about it. My ex was so damn selfish that after he busted a nut that was all she wrote."

"Ugh. What an ass! Don't men know that women would fuck them more if they got us off occasionally?"

"You'd think. But that didn't bother my ex … he had tons of women on the side."

"Oh no, Lacy! What man would cheat on you?"

"An asshole. Which is why I ended things when I graduated two weeks ago."

"Well, good for you."

"Now if I could just stop thinking about him. Sort of hard to do when he  keeps texting and calling nonstop. But this time I'm done."

"Is that how you ended up with a certain someone?" she asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Yes. I was looking for the opposite of Zack, but it seems assholes come  in all shapes and sizes. At least I got seven orgasms out of it."

"Seven? In one night?"

"No, more like five in twenty or thirty minutes and then two the next morning."

"Wow! The man works magic fast," she said with a giggle.

"Yeah, he does," Will said from the office doorway. "I'm already finished with your computer, too."

My face lit on fire as he stood there and smirked, his hands casually in  the front of his pockets, knowing exactly what we'd been talking about.  I wondered embarrassedly how much he'd heard, until I thought of a way  to wipe the smile off his face.

I stood up and headed for him, pushing out my breasts and rubbing them  against the front of his chest, taking my time to get by him in the  doorway. I heard his groan as his back pressed against the door frame.

"Thanks, Will," I said, mere inches from his face, then I put an extra  sway in my hips as I went to my office, knowing he was watching my ass. I  didn't expect him to follow me.

"Hey, Lacy, wait! I really am sorry about lying to you."

"Uh-huh."

"I am. That's … not me, and I wish you'd give me another chance."

"No, thanks. I don't want any more one-night stands," I told him as I went around and sat at my desk.

"I don't either. I want to take you out on a real date."

"Sorry but I'm not a fool me twice kind of girl."

"Come on. Dinner and a movie. I've got one I think you'll like. It's short and really hot. Takes place on an elevator  … "

I gasped and looked up at him. "No! Please tell me you don't have that."

"I do have that," he said with his dimpled, cocky grin. "Did I forget to  mention that I digitally store and manage the video surveillance for  Dylan and Jules's building?"

"You do? And you have … that?"

"Oh yeah. And I've watched it a few times. My dick's getting hard just thinking about it."

I couldn't help but gasp again at his naughty words, glancing over  toward my open office door. Will followed my eyes and took a step  backward to close it. I wasn't sure that privacy was a good thing.

"Did I mention it also has full audio?" he asked, and if possible my  face became hotter. I pressed my cool palms to my cheeks trying to  soothe them, but Will just kept right on going, making it worse. "I'm  not sure whose name you screamed more, mine or God's. But maybe you were  referring to me in both instances since you said, I was 'a sex god.'"

"You're going to give me that video," I told him, unable to even look at him now.

"Oh, so you do want to see it?"

"No, I want it to destroy it."

"What? Why? It's too fucking good to be destroyed."

"If you've shown it to a single person I will sue the shit out of you," I threatened him.

"Whoa! I haven't shown it to anyone and I'm not going to show it to anyone but you."

"What if someone finds it? I'm trying to start a career in television.  That video could ruin me!" I felt my eyes begin to water, from anger or  embarrassment, I wasn't sure which. Probably a combination of both.

"Hey, calm down. My networks are all locked down tighter than Fort Knox. I swear, no one will ever see it, Lacy."

I shook my head and covered my face as the tears started flowing down my cheeks. "Like I can believe anything you say."

"Damn it, Lacy, please don't cry," he said, spinning my chair around to  face him as he bent down in front of me. "I'm not the asshole you think I  am."
